Cloudland Canyon ist ein US-amerikanisches Experimental-Rock-Ensemble aus New York, das im Jahr 2000 gegründet wurde. Die Gruppe wurde von Kip Uhlhorn und Simon Wojan gegründet. Sie erlangten professionelle Anerkennung für einen Musikstil, der Einflüsse aus Krautrock, Drone und Shoegaze vereint. Ihre Diskografie begann mit dem Debüt-Studioalbum „Requiems Der Natur 2002–2004“ (2006). Nach der Unterzeichnung eines Vertrags beim Label Kranky veröffentlichten sie das Studioalbum „Silver Tongued Sisyphus“ (2007). Professionelle Anerkennung erlangten sie mit dem Studioalbum „Lie in Light“ (2008), das vom Magazin „Magnet“ zu einem der 25 besten Alben des Jahres gekürt wurde. Zu ihrer Diskografie gehört das Studioalbum „Fin Eaves“ (2010), das über Holy Mountain veröffentlicht wurde. Das Ensemble ging unter anderem mit Gruppen wie The Flaming Lips, Interpol und Bear in Heaven auf Tournee. Zu ihrer Diskografie gehört auch der Soundtrack zum Film „Miss Lovely“ (2012).
