Cloudland Canyon

Cloudland Canyon are an American experimental rock ensemble from New York formed in 2000. The group was established by Kip Uhlhorn and Simon Wojan. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style incorporating krautrock, drone, and shoegaze influences. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Requiems Der Natur 2002-2004 (2006). After signing with the label Kranky, they released the studio recording Silver Tongued Sisyphus (2007). They achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Lie in Light (2008), which was named one of the top 25 albums of the year by Magnet magazine. Their discography includes the studio recording Fin Eaves (2010), released through Holy Mountain. The ensemble conducted tours with groups including The Flaming Lips, Interpol, and Bear in Heaven. Their recording career includes the score for the film Miss Lovely (2012).
