Oso Oso, an American rock band from Long Beach, New York, was formed in 2014 with Jade Lilitri as the sole permanent member. Initially a side-project, the band released their first EP Osoosooso through Soft Speak Records and later expanded into a full-length project. In 2015, Oso Oso released their debut album Real Stories of True People Who Kind of Looked Like Monsters. The band's second album, The Yunahon Mixtape, was released in 2017 on Seal Mountain Records and later reissued by Triple Crown Records. In 2019, they released Basking in the Glow which was named "Best New Music" by Pitchfork. The band's guitarist Tavish Maloney passed away in March 2021 at age 24. Their subsequent album, Sore Thumb, was released in 2022 and also received recognition from Pitchfork. In July of 2024, the band announced their new album Life Till Bones.
