Igor Gehenot is a Belgian pianist and composer born in Belgium in 1989. Gehenot studied piano jazz at the conservatories of Maastricht and Brussels and formed a trio with Sam Gerstmans and Antoine Pierre. His debut album, Road Story (2012), was released on Igloo Records. The recording was named jazz album of the year by Jazzwise magazine. Gehenot performed with the Lg Jazz Collective and received the Sabam Jazz Award in 2011. His recordings include Motion (2014), New Feel (2014), Delta (2017), and Cursiv (2019). Delta received the Octaves de la musique award in 2018. Gehenot performed at festivals such as the Brussels Jazz Weekend, Gent Jazz Festival, and the London Jazz Festival.
