Better Than A Thousand was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1997. The group consisted of drummer Ken Olden and guitarist Graham Land, who recruited Ray Cappo as their vocalist after their previous band Battery broke up. They signed to Revelation Records and released their debut album Just One in July 1997. Their second album, Value Driven, followed in 1998. The band toured extensively before disbanding when Cappo moved to California and quit his straight-edge lifestyle. In 2020, Olden remixed and remastered both albums for a reissue package released by End Hits Records, which included the original albums and five rare bonus songs.
