Vidar Busk, born on May 19, 1970, in Langesund, Norway, is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and record producer who began his musical journey at the age of 15 when he moved to the United States to play with American blues artist Rock Bottom. After touring extensively across the U.S., Busk returned to Norway in 1990 and quickly gained recognition for his talents. He won the Smuget Prize in 1994, followed by two Spellemannprisen awards, one in 1998 as Artist of the Year and another in 2003 in the blues/country category. Busk has released several albums including Love Buzz (2003) and Starfish (2005). In addition to his solo work, he performed at Moldejazz 2011 and collaborated with various artists, notably with Daniel Eriksen & Stig Sjostrom on the album Hustle & Flow (2019).
