Do Me Bad Things, a nine‑piece English blues‑rock group from Croydon, London, formed in February 2003 with Alex Lewis, Tom Shotton and Adam Mallett initiating a rock trio that soon expanded to include Nicolai Prowse, Chantal Brown, Mark Woods, Rich Aldhurst, Kimberley Whalley and Clare Macdonald‑Haig; the band’s early gigs were recorded at local venues such as the Archway pub, attracting the attention of Must Destroy Records and leading to a deal with Atlantic Records. Their breakthrough came with the single "The Song Rides" in June 2004, which received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and a session on XFM, followed by the release of the EP Time For Deliverance. The debut album Yes! was issued on 11 April 2005, and the single "What's Hideous" entered the UK Singles Chart at number 33 on 13 March 2005, while "Move In Stereo" peaked at number 49 on 13 June 2005; the band supported The Darkness on the Permission to Land tour in late 2004. After internal departures in 2005, Do Me Bad Things disbanded on 11 January 2006, though they reunited for a one‑off show at The Lexington in July 2015 and released the double‑A side single "Jailbreak Getaway/Power of Love" in August 2016, marking a brief post‑disband activity before the group’s final dissolution.
