Devilment is a British gothic metal band from Suffolk that formed in 2011. The ensemble was founded by the guitarist Daniel Finch, who was joined by the lead vocalist Dani Filth from the band Cradle of Filth. Their debut studio album, The Great and Secret Show, was released in 2014 through the label Nuclear Blast and featured the single “Even Your Blood Group Rejects Me” (2014). Following the album's release, they conducted a European tour with the groups Lacuna Coil and Motionless in White. Their second studio album, II – The Mephisto Waltzes, was released in 2016 and highlighted the vocal performance of Lauren Francis. The recording included the singles “Under the Thunder” (2016) and “Hitchcock Blonde” (2016). The band performed on the main stage of the Bloodstock Festival in 2017. Their discography also includes the demo recording Grotescapology (2012).
