Forq, an American jazz fusion band from New York and Texas, was co-founded in 2012 by keyboardist Henry Hey and bassist Michael League. The original lineup included guitarist Adam Rogers and drummer Jason "JT" Thomas. Forq's debut self-titled album Forq was released on Snarky Puppy's label, GroundUP Music, in 2014. Rogers left the group early in 2015 and was replaced by Chris McQueen prior to a European tour. The band's second album, Batch, was issued in June 2015. Forq played at Snarky Puppy's GroundUp Festival in February 2017 and released their third album, Thrēq, later that year. Bassist Michael League was replaced by Kevin Scott following the release of Thrēq. The band continued with releases such as Four (2019) and Big Party (2024).
