The Panic Division, an American alternative rock band from San Antonio, Texas, was formed in 2005 by members of Carbon 12 Theory. Their debut album Versus was released in November 2005 under The Militia Group, marking a shift towards electronic, synthpop sound. The band gained recognition as SPIN Band of the Day and toured extensively. Drummer James Castillo left the band and was replaced by Jesse Garcia. Their second album Songs from the Glasshouse followed in 2007. After a hiatus, they released the EP Sleepwalker in March 2009. The Panic Division continued with albums including Eternalism (February 2012). Their latest album, Touch, was released in 2019.
