Dew-Scented, a German thrash/death metal band from Braunschweig, was formed in 1992. The group released their debut demo, Symbolization, in 1993. In 1996, they released the first album Immortelle. Dew-Scented continued to evolve through lineup changes and new releases. They signed with Grind Syndicate Media/NBR in 1998 and released Innoscent before making their debut appearance at the Wacken Open Air festival that same year. The band saw success with releases such as "Issue VI" (2005), "Incinerate" (2007), "Invocation" (2010), and "Icarus" (2012). Their album, Intermination, was released in 2015. The band announced their breakup in May 2018. This followed farewell concerts in October of the same year
