Pegazus, an Australian heavy metal band from Melbourne, was formed in late 1993 by guitarist Johnny Stoj and his brother Robbie on drums. The band released their self-titled debut album Pegazus in 1995 with Justin Fleming on vocals and Dave King on bass. After signing with Nuclear Blast Records in 1998, Pegazus gained international notice with the release of Wings Of Destiny. Notable achievements include performing at the Wacken Open Air festival in 1998 and touring Europe twice. The band's lineup has seen several changes over the years, with notable members including Danny Cecati, Corey Betts, and Rob Thompson. Their studio album, In Metal We Trust, was released in 2011.
