Friðrik Dór Jónsson, known professionally as Friðrik Dór, is an Icelandic R&B and pop singer-songwriter born on October 7, 1988, in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. He started his musical career by forming the band Fendrix with schoolmates during grade 8, where he played drums. They participated in Músíktilraunir in 2003. His solo career began in 2009 with the single "Hlið við hlið", which reached number 2 on FM 957's charts. In 2010, he released his debut album Allt sem þú átt, featuring hits like "Á sama stað" and "Fyrir hana". In 2015, he attempted to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest with "Í síðasta skipti", finishing second. His subsequent albums include Vélrænn (2012), Segir ekki neitt (2018), and Dætur (2022).
