The Morning Of is an American pop rock and indie rock band originating from Newburgh, New York. Formed in 2005, the group initially gained traction with their debut self-released EP, Welcome Change. Goodbye Gravity (2005), which held a position in the top 50 best-selling albums on Smartpunk.com for six months. In 2008, the band released their first full-length album, The World as We Know It, which debuted at number 18 on the United States Billboard Heatseekers chart and peaked at number 25 on the iTunes pop album chart. Their subsequent album, The Way I Fell In, was recorded with producer Jim Wirt and released on May 11, 2010, debuting at number 10 on the United States Billboard Heatseekers chart. In 2011, the band released the Europe EP during their European run. They performed live less frequently before entering a hiatus on September 29, 2013. On February 18, 2026, the band announced a reunion show in New York City. The lineup includes Chris Petrosino on piano, guitar, and vocals; Rob McCurdy on guitar and vocals; Abir Hossain on bass; Justin Wiley on vocals and guitar; Jessica Leplon on vocals; Dan Celikoyar on drums; and Ryan Jernigan on bass.
