Yndi Halda, a post-rock band from Kent, England, was formed in 2001 by James Vella, Jack Lambert, Daniel Neal, and Oliver Newton. Their debut release Enjoy Eternal Bliss (2005) gained attention despite limited availability. They signed to Big Scary Monsters and Burnt Toast Vinyl, who re-released the EP as an album with an unreleased track in 2007. The band toured extensively across multiple continents. After a hiatus, Yndi Halda returned in 2016 with Under Summer, receiving critical acclaim for its emphasis on songwriting and vocals. They continued touring internationally and released the EP A Sun-Coloured Shaker (2018).
