Brutality Will Prevail, a Welsh hardcore punk band from Cardiff, was formed in 2005 by vocalist Gareth Arnold, guitarist James Goodman, bassist Dale Williams, and drummer Adam Evans. The group released their first EP, Life Is Our War, later that year before Arnold and Williams departed. Ajay Jones took over as the lead vocalist, and Emlyn Lamb joined on bass. Their debut album, Forgotten Soul, was released in 2009, followed by The Root of All Evil in 2010. In 2012, they released their third studio album, Scatter The Ashes. Following a tour for this album, Jones left the band and Louis Gauthier became the new vocalist. Their fourth album, Suspension Of Consciousness, was released in 2014. Notable releases include In Dark Places (2017) and Misery Sequence (2019). The band announced their disbandment in September 2021, concluding with a final tour in 2022.
