KumasiDoll has a soft yet powerful voice that juxtaposes rhythmic beats. Louisa Serwaa Akoto (born July 18, 1998) better known by stage name KumasiDoll is a singer and songwriter from Minneapolis. She started with spoken-word in high school and college where she performed on various stages and began uploading on Youtube. On January 22, 2020, she released her debut R&B single, Time which has gathered over 600,000 plays on Spotify. 2020 proved to be a hardworking year for KumasiDoll as she also released an EP titled Sugar Glass. KumasiDoll was heavily influenced by the styles of The XX, SZA, Purity Ring, and Two Door Cinema Club.
