Aleksandar Janković, also known as MC Yankoo, was born on August 27, 1981, in Vienna, Austria, and is a Serbian-Austrian musician. He began his career performing under the name Salex before gaining recognition on the Balkan music scene through collaborations with artists such as MC Stojan, Dado Polumenta, and Darko Lazić. In 2009, he founded his own label, Yankoo Music, through which he released numerous singles and dance projects. His popularity grew with hits like “Tvoje Tange” (2010), “Ja Volim Balkan” (2011), and the international dance track “Shake 3x” (2012), which charted in Austria and Germany. One of his most successful songs, “Moje Zlato” (2014), a collaboration with Milica Todorović, became one of the most-viewed Serbian music videos on YouTube. His discography includes the album Sexy Selection (2011).
