Jessica Louise "Jesy" Fortino, known professionally as Tiny Vipers, is an American acoustic musician born in 1983. Hailing from Seattle, Washington, Fortino began her musical journey with a minimalist and atmospheric style that blends folk, ambient, and experimental music. Tiny Vipers signed with Sub Pop Records in the mid-2000s, releasing her debut album Hands Across the Void in July 2007. The album received critical acclaim for its haunting simplicity and stark, melancholic atmosphere. In January 2012, Fortino collaborated with Liz Harris of Grouper under the name Mirrorring, releasing the album Foreign Body. After an extended hiatus from recording, Tiny Vipers returned in May 2017 with the album Laughter, which incorporated electronic elements and synthetic textures. November 7, 2025 saw the release of Tormentor.
