DJ Icey, born Eddie Pappa in Florida, is an American DJ and electronic music producer. He started his career as DJ Icee but changed his name due to legal issues. DJ Icey gained prominence by blending Chicago hip house and English break-beat house styles while DJing at Orlando's club "The Edge" from 1991 to 1996. In 1993, he founded his own label, Zone. Notable releases include the album Different Day (2003), which reached number 8 on the Top Electronic Albums chart and number 41 on the Top Independent Albums chart. He has also remixed music for artists such as Groove Armada, Paul Oakenfold, and Kosheen.
