Odds, a Canadian alternative rock band, was formed in 1987 and based in Vancouver. The group consisted of vocalist-guitarists Craig Northey and Steven Drake, bassist Doug Elliott, and drummer Paul Brennan. Odds released their debut album Neopolitan in 1991, which included the hits "Love is the Subject" and "King of the Heap". They were picked up by Warren Zevon as his touring band for Mr. Bad Example. In 1995, they released their most commercially successful album, Good Weird Feeling, featuring top 10 hits such as "Truth Untold" and "Eat My Brain". The band was nominated for six Juno Awards in the 1990s. Odds went on hiatus from 1999 until 2007, then returned with a new album Cheerleader under the name the New Odds before resecuring the rights to their original name.
