Elektro Guzzi is an Austrian acoustic techno band from Vienna, formed in 2004. Influenced by Detroit techno, the group performs with a classic lineup of guitar, drums, and bass, aiming to bring a unique acoustic approach to electronic music. After five years of preparation, the trio released its self-titled debut studio album in 2010 on the Berlin-based label Macro, produced by Patrick Pulsinger. The band's distinctive sound led to performances at major electronic music festivals such as Sónar, Mutek, Roskilde, and Melt. The group released subsequent albums, including Parquet (2011), which won the EBBA Award in 2012, and Polybrass (2018). The ensemble also collaborated with electronic artists on releases such as the EP Atlas / Vodolaz Versions (2015) with KiNK and the EP Coexist EP (2020) with Cristian Vogel.
