Moving Hearts, an Irish Celtic rock band, was formed in 1981 by Dónal Lunny and Christy Moore to blend contemporary music with traditional Irish sounds. Their debut album Moving Hearts was released in 1981, followed by Dark End of the Street in 1982, both featuring politically charged songs. In 1983, they released their live album Live Hearts, capturing performances from notable venues. After several lineup changes and Moore's departure. The group ceased touring in 1984 but reunited periodically for concerts. In 2007, the band reformed and released Live in Dublin, marking their return to the stage with new members.
