Count The Stars was an American pop-punk band from Albany, New York, formed in 1995. Initially known as Visual Reason, they released their debut album Another Useless Night on Dreamsand Records in 2001 and gained a strong underground following. They signed with Victory Records and released their second album Never Be Taken Alive in 2003. The band toured extensively with acts like Taking Back Sunday and Fall Out Boy, and appeared on the Vans Warped Tour. They disbanded in 2003. Following the breakup, David Shapiro became a talent agent. Shapiro died in 2025.
