Lee Jun‑sang, known professionally as JUNE, was born on January 2 1987 in the Republic of Korea and pursued a career as a solo R&B singer. After recording a cover of Musiq 's “Love” at age 17, he attracted the attention of producer Matsuo “KC” Kiyoshi, who traveled to Korea and encouraged him to study Japanese; this preparation led to a major debut with Sony Music Japan in November 2006. JUNE’s first single, "Baby It’s You / Discotique Romantic", was released on 15 November 2006, with "Baby It’s You" serving as the ninth ending theme for the anime Bleach; the same year, the single "Pride of Tomorrow" was issued on 7 March 2007, and became the second ending theme for D.Gray‑Man. Subsequent releases included "You and Me" on 11 July 2007 and "Always" on 11 March 2009. JUNE also contributed to the track “왜 서있어” on TBNY’s Masquerade (2006) and worked on arrangements for artists such as Kuroki Meisa and Jang Keun‑suk. In 2012, he joined the Japanese R&B trio Wazz Up, continuing his involvement in the music industry.
