XTRMST was an American straight edge hardcore punk band formed in 2012, featuring Davey Havok and Jade Puget of AFI. The duo's second side project together, following their electronic venture Blaqk Audio, XTRMST released their debut self-titled EP on March 10, 2014, self-released on cassette and digital download. Later that year, the band expanded to include Chris Sorenson on bass, Josh James on guitar, and Val Saucedo on drums. Their full-length album XTRMST was released on November 17, 2014, via Dim Mak Records, a label founded by Steve Aoki. The band played two live shows in early 2015, one at the Roxy in West Hollywood and one at The Observatory in Santa Ana, before becoming inactive later that year. Each member returned to their respective main bands following the project's dissolution.
