Mypollux is a French nu metal and power pop ensemble from Nancy established in 2001. They achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by nu metal and for performing as the opening act for the ensemble Pleymo at the venue the Zénith de Paris. The ensemble was composed of the vocalist Lucie Lebrun, the guitarist Yann Klimezyk, the bassist Florent Perreton, and the drummer Thomas Copier. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Trouble amarante (2004), which was an independent production. Mypollux achieved professional recognition for performing 100 concerts in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg before the reissue of their debut recording by the label Up Music in 2005. Their discography included the studio recording Contraires (2006), which featured the musician Joe Duplantier on the song “Coffre a souhaits”. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for performing as the opening act for the ensemble Korn in 2007. Mypollux achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Dédales (2008). The group became inactive in February 2010 after Lebrun embarked on a solo project. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for resuming activity for two concerts in December 2014.
