Kyte, a British electronic indie pop group from Leicestershire, England, comprised vocalist Nick Moon, guitarist and keyboardist Tom Lowe, and drummer Scott Hislop. Initially rooted in shoegazing and post‑rock, the band gained attention with the 2007 single "Planet" on Sonic Cathedral Recordings, whose B‑side "Boundaries" appeared in a trailer for The Sopranos. Their debut album Kyte was released in 2008 on Kids Records, followed by Science For The Living in 2009, featuring tracks from the Two Sparks, Two Stars EP and a Joy Formidable remix. In 2010 they issued Dead Waves, earning a 7/10 from NME and launching a remix contest for "Ihnfsa". The group continued with Love To Be Lost in 2012 and extensive tours across Europe and Asia.
