Saor is a Scottish Celtic metal project founded and led by Andy Marshall (born 1988). Known for blending atmospheric black metal with traditional Celtic music, Saor (pronounced "sore") crafts a unique soundscape that combines heavy, melodic metal with haunting folk influences. Drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes and rich history of Scotland, the music evokes a sense of longing, mysticism, and melancholy, celebrating the culture and natural beauty of the Highlands.
