Les Timbres is a French early music ensemble formed in 2007 by violinist Yoko Kawakubo, violist da gamba Myriam Rignol, and harpsichordist Julien Wolfs. The founders met while studying at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon. Originally named Estampes, the ensemble won several prizes in 2008 at the 10th Premio Bonporti international chamber music competition, including the audience prize and the special jury prize for the best interpretation of basso continuo. In 2009, the group won first prize at the Bruges Early Music Festival, as well as the prize for the best contemporary creation, which they composed under the acronym YoJu-Mi KaWoRi. The ensemble recorded for the label Flora, and its discography includes the albums Pièces de Clavecin en concert (2014), La Suave melodia (2015) in collaboration with the Japanese ensemble Harmonia Lenis, Concerts Royaux (2018), Sonate à doi, violine & viola da gamba con cembalo (2020), and La Gamme (2022). The group toured in Europe and Japan, and participated in festivals such as Musique & Mémoire and Bach en Combrailles. Four of the ensemble's recordings received the Diapason d'or award.
