HAMX is derived from his last name Hampton, X meaning ten from the Roman numeral X, grew up in a Jamaican home in Bellflower, CA. His early memories of music stem from Dance, 90s R&B, and HipHop.
A musical globetrotter, his signature sound has been showcased at some of the biggest events on the planet. This highly sought after 3-time DJ & musical director for the Olympics, also set the stage for NBA, The US Open, LA Pride Festival and more; the roll-call is endless. Working with A-list celebrities including Prince, the Black Eyed Peas along with many iconic brands, he continues to elevate his career.
