Frederikke Hoffmeier, known professionally as Puce Mary, born in 1989 in Denmark, is a Danish experimental musician, composer, and sound artist. She started her career performing with bands such as Timeless Reality and Body Sculptures in Copenhagen's underground music scene. Her debut release under the name Puce Mary, Piss Flowers (2010), was issued in cassette format. Hoffmeier's breakthrough came with her debut full-length album, Success (2013), released on the Posh Isolation record label. She followed this with Persona (2014). In 2015, she collaborated with Loke Rahbek on the full-length release, The Female Form. Hoffmeier also contributed to film scores, including Kød & Blod (2020) and The Girl with the Needle (2024), for which she won the Excellence price for European Original Score at the European Film Awards and Best Music at the Polish Film Festival.
