Hard 'n Phirm was a Los Angeles comedy‑parody duo formed by Chris Hardwick and Mike Phirman in 1994 during their time at UCLA. Their debut and only album, Horses and Grasses, released independently in 2005, featured the viral track "Pi" and the bluegrass‑style medley "Rodeohead". In 2007, they appeared on the compilation Comedy Death‑Ray, and in 2008 presented a Comedy Central Presents special with songs such as "American Dinosaurs" and "Anything", earning the Effinfunny.com Comedian of the Year Award that year. The duo contributed to Rob Zombie’s The Haunted World of El Superbeasto in 2009 before disbanding the same year.
