Das Pop was a Belgian indie pop band formed in Ghent in 1994. In the years following their formation, the band built a following in Belgium with early singles such as "The Little Boy" and "Electronica For Lovers," released through PIAS as they prepared their debut album. Their first full-length album, I Love, appeared in 2000, spawning singles including "The One" and "The Love Program," followed by The Human Thing in 2003. In 2008 the band released the EP Fool for Lovealong with the single "Underground," and 2009 brought both the single "Never Get Enough" and their self-titled album, Das Pop. The 2011 album The Game and its title track "The Game" expanded their catalog, and the single "Thunder & Lightning" followed in 2012. Das Pop went on hiatus after their final concert that December in Eeklo, with their active period generally counted through 2013 before a comeback in 2024. Their run left behind a catalog that resonated with a dedicated following in Belgium and beyond.
