Katherine Virginia "Kassie" DePaiva, born on March 21, 1961 in Morganfield, Kentucky, is an American actress and singer. She began her musical journey singing in the church choir and performing in school plays during her childhood. At 18, she made her professional singing debut at the Grand Ole Opry. DePaiva's first album, Naked, was released in 2000, followed by No Regrets in 2005 and I Want to Love You in 2007. She collaborated with Jim Brickman on his album The Disney Songbook, performing "Baby Mine" from Dumbo. DePaiva also performed the song "Simply Love" for a fundraiser album for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and appeared as Chelsea Reardon on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light.
