Jupiter One was an American indie rock and electronic rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2003, the group was founded by Kaoru Ishibashi and Zac Colwell and later included keyboardist Mocha, drummer Dave Heilman and bassist Pat "Panda" Dougherty. The ensemble released its self-titled debut studio album, Jupiter One, in 2007 through the label Cordless Recordings. The recording featured the track “Countdown”, which appeared in the video game Madden NFL 08. Their subsequent recordings included The Remix EP (2008) and the studio album Sunshower (2009). The ensemble performed as an opening act for Regina Spektor on her North American tour in 2009 and her Australasian tour in 2010. After members pursued various projects, including Ishibashi's solo work under the name Kishi Bashi, the band became inactive in 2013.
