Project Grand Slam, a jazz-rock fusion band from New York City, was formed in 2007 by bassist/composer Robert Miller. The group released their debut album Play in 2008 and followed it up with Spring Dance in 2012. In 2015, the band re-formed with a new lineup and released Made in New York, featuring singles "New York City Groove" and "Fire". In 2018, Project Grand Slam achieved their highest chart success with Trippin’, reaching Number 1 on the Billboard Jazz chart. The band has performed at various festivals and venues worldwide, sharing the stage with notable artists such as Edgar Winter, Blues Traveler, Boney James, and Mindi Abair.
