Wildlife, a Canadian indie rock band, was formed in 2005 by members from Oshawa, Ontario. Their debut EP, Wildlife, was released in 2009. In 2011, they released their first full-length album, Strike Hard, Young Diamond. The single "Sea Dreamer" debuted on CBC Radio 3’s top 30 charts at number 28 and peaked at number 4. In March 2013, the band released On the Heart through Wax Records, featuring their first top 10 radio hit with the single "Lightning Tent." Their most recent album, Take the Light with You, was released in October 2019 under Culvert Music.
