Musician, composer, and producer Donatella Canepa specializes in music for visual media. She draws her inspiration from her roots growing up in Genova, the great Mediterranean port city that has sent out explorers to worlds known and unknown, with the centuries-old Lanterna lighthouse showing the way. There, her music was forged by this seafaring realm of ships and distant horizons, of wandering spirits and long sea routes. She combines these influences with her own experiences, roaming the wilds of the Arctic, sipping the traditions of old English pubs, or driving under the sun down Los Angeles roads, to create her unique blend of rock and metal guitars that alternate between electronic and orchestral sounds to form cinematic music across a range of genres.
