Aki Pekka Antero Sirkesalo, born on July 25, 1962, in Toijala, Finland, was a Finnish musician. He started his musical career playing trombone in a local brass band and later took up the trumpet and guitar. In the mid-1980s, he co-founded the band Giddyups, which released two albums. Sirkesalo began his solo career in the early 1990s, with his debut album Mielenrauhaa (1995), reaching the top 10 on the Finnish charts. His subsequent albums include Aika (1996), Kissanelämää (1998), and Enkeleitä Onko Heitä (2001). Notable songs from his discography include "Mustankipee" (1994) and "Seksuaalista Häirintää" (1996). Tragically, Sirkesalo died on December 26, 2004, in Khao Lak, Thailand, in the tsunami following the Indian Ocean earthquake. His final album, Sanasta Miestä, was released posthumously in 2005.
