Color‑code, stylised as color‑code, is a Japanese pop group created in 2013 by Italian‑Japanese fashion director Nicola Formichetti. The line-up was chosen through POP ICON PROJECT TOKYO auditions, selecting Tsujikawa Nanami, Moriyasu Mako from Osaka, and Yasukawa Marisa from Chiba. Their breakthrough came with the debut single "I Like Dat" released in September 2014, followed by "Hands UP!" in May 2015. In 2018, the group signed with Dreamusic and issued the single "if ~kono-goe ga todokunara~" before releasing their debut studio album Re∂l in September 2020. Subsequent singles such as "Brand New Door" (January 2021), "Congrats!" (August 2021), "Make a Wish" (November 2021), "NO ONE" (August 2022), and "empty" (July 2023) expanded their catalogue.
