Oceanwake, a Finnish death-doom and post-metal band from Luvia, was formed in 2009. The group released their debut single "Luminous Waves" independently in 2012, followed by their first full-length album Kingdom under Stygian Crypt Productions the same year. In 2015, Oceanwake signed with ViciSolum Productions and released Sunless, an album noted for its raw yet accessible sound compared to other bands in the genre. They continued their collaboration with ViciSolum Productions, releasing Earthen in 2017. The band's discography also includes Lights Flashing in Mute Scenery, released in 2019.
