Annastasia Anneve Baker, born on 16 November 1988 in Mandeville, Jamaica, is a British gospel singer and songwriter who grew up in London. She first gained notice as a contestant on The X Factor in 2008 and 2010. Baker won the UK Gospel talent competition Time2shine in 2013, marking her breakthrough. Her debut single, "First Love", was released in December 2013, followed by "Let Me Go" in June 2014. She performed at Barbados Gospelfest and launched her first album, You Turn, in 2015. The album featured a duet with Joshua Rogers from the TV series Sunday Best. Baker was nominated for a MOBO Award in the "Best Gospel Act" category in 2014, and she won the Critics' Choice Award at the Gospel Touch Music Awards the same year.
