Jacksoul was a Canadian soul and R&B music group formed in 1992 in Toronto and fronted by singer Haydain Neale. They released their debut album Twilight independently in 1994. The album featured the single "Unconditional", which earned a MuchMusic Video Award nomination for Best R&B/Soul Music Video. In 1996, they released Absolute, featuring hits like "(Do You) Like It Like That" and "Eastbound". They gained significant recognition with their subsequent albums Sleepless (2000), Resurrected (2004), and mySoul (2006). Notable singles included "Can't Stop", which peaked at number 8 on the Canadian RPM 100 chart, and "Still Believe in Love" number 14 on the BDS chart. Following a traffic accident in 2007 that left Neale in a coma, Jacksoul released Soulmate in 2009, with all profits going to the Haydain Neale Family Trust. Unfortunately, Neale passed away from lung cancer on November 22, 2009. In 2014, the band released a greatest hits compilation featuring the previously unreleased songs "Got to Have It", "Whole Day", and "Spiralling". The song "Got to Have It" garnered a Juno Award nomination for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2015.
