Juha Metsäperä is a Finnish pop and schlager singer born on April 11, 1979, in Oulu. He reached wider visibility after releasing the debut studio recording Pienen hetken (2006). Following this release, he toured in Finland with his ensemble Resiina, performing approximately 150 concerts in a year. His recording career included the studio recording Opitko rakastamaan (2007) and the studio recording Olen lähelläsi (2009), for which he participated in the songwriting and composition. Metsäperä reached professional recognition for the song "Äiti" from the studio recording Hyvä sydän (2012). In 2014, he became the lead vocalist for the ensemble Taikakuu, replacing the singer Janne Raappana.
