Strike is a Brazilian pop-punk and alternative rock band from Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, formed in 2003. The band first gained local attention by performing punk and hardcore covers in regional clubs. They achieved national prominence with their debut studio album, Desvio de Conduta, released in 2007 under Deckdisc, which was certified platinum and sold over 100,000 copies. The album's hit single, “Paraíso Proibido”, served as the opening theme for the telenovela Malhação. Strike followed with their second album, Hiperativo, in March 2010, produced by Rick Bonadio, which featured the hit single “A Tendência”. In February 2012, they released the single “Dogtown Style”, which was followed in July 2012 by their third album, Nova Aurora, featuring the single “Fluxo Perfeito”. After several lineup changes, including the addition of drummer Bruno Graveto in 2013, they released the single “Sol de Paz” in January 2014. The band released their fourth studio album, Collab, in 2015 under Som Livre, followed by the EP Fenix in 2018. Following a post-pandemic hiatus, the band returned to live performance in 2025 at the Rock Festival Nova Iguaçu.
