Alexis Stephen Francis Marshall, also known as Alexis S.F. Marshall, born March 22, 1980, in Massachusetts, is an American singer. He moved to Providence, Rhode Island, for college and became immersed in the local hardcore scene. Marshall formed his first band, As the Sun Sets, in 1998. After its disbandment, he founded Daughters with Brent Fantini, Nick Sadler, and Samuel Walker in 2001. Their debut EP was released in 2002, followed by Canada Songs (2003) and Hell Songs (2006). The band disbanded in 2009 due to internal conflicts but reunited in 2013. Marshall's solo career began with the release of "Nature in Three Movements" (2020), followed by his debut album, House of Lull. House of When (2021).
