Flybanger was a Canadian alternative metal band from Vancouver that was active between 1995 and 2003. Initially known as Jar, they released two CDs, including Knott Skull in 1998, before renaming to Flybanger. Their song "Regional Pump" appeared in the film Laserhawk. In 2000, they released the EP Outlived, followed by their major label debut album, Headtrip to Nowhere in 2001 through Sony Music. Produced by Matt Wallace, the album featured singles "Cavalry", "Radical" and "Blind World"; the latter was included on the soundtrack for the motion picture Dracula 2000. The band toured in support of the album but disbanded in 2003.
