Paddy Casey, born in Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland, is an Irish singer. At age 12, he received his first guitar and began busking and gigging for about 12 years. At the age of 24, Casey was approached by Sony A&R Scout Hugh Murray while performing at a singer/songwriter night in Dublin. This led to his debut album Amen (So Be It), which was produced by Pat Donne and certified triple platinum in Ireland. The album featured the track "Winter's Fire" with Mundy as a guest guitarist, and "Sweet Suburban Sky", which appeared on the soundtrack of the US TV drama Dawson’s Creek. Casey received nominations for Best Irish Songwriter and Best Male Singer at the Hot Press Awards. In 2003, he released his second album Living, which included hits like "Saints and Sinners" and "The Lucky One", the latter of which topped the Irish Albums Chart.
