Parraleños, a musical group from Argentina, was formed in the mid-1990s by Sami Bucella, Carlitos Carnota, Fabio, and Mariano Takara. They initially performed at community events for the Japanese community. Their breakthrough came with the release of their EP Kamikaze Fun in 2002, featuring the hit single "Megadeth," a cumbia-pop version of Leo García's "Morrissey." The song reached Number 1 on MTV and stayed there for three consecutive weeks. In October 2002, Parraleños was nominated for Best New Artist Southeast at the MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica. Their subsequent albums include Que no decaiga (2004) and Kamikaze Party (2016).
