Luna, born Park Sun-young on August 12, 1993, is a South Korean singer, dancer, musical actress, and television host. She debuted in 2009 as the main vocalist and lead dancer of the K-pop girl group f(x) under SM Entertainment, where she gained acclaim for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. In 2016, she launched her solo career with the EP Free Somebody, earning a spot on Billboard’s list of the greatest K-pop songs of the decade with its title track. After leaving SM Entertainment in 2019, Luna joined Humap Contents, then founded her agency, Grida Entertainment, in 2021. Beyond her music career, Luna has made significant strides in musical theater, performing in both Korean and original productions of popular musicals like Legally Blonde, In the Heights, Rebecca, and the Broadway musical KPOP in 2022. She has also appeared on various television programs, including The Show, Get It Beauty, and King of Masked Singer, where her vocal skills won broad admiration. In December 2023, Luna hosted her solo concert, "The Love Affair: A Night Of Music," in Seoul, showcasing her evolving artistry.
